Looking to save some money on a used goldwing

Been riding other people's cruisers for years but always had my eye on a goldwing and the temptation lately has been way worse, I've been seeing some pretty clean used GL1800s pop up in my area, and I'm seriously considering making the switch, I've been saving up to get it actually but budget is still quite tight so I'm looking at older models mostly 2008–2012 range to keep costs down. Main thing I'm wondering, what should I be watching for in these used ones? because as much as want this, I dont want to dump my savings on this and end up doing repairs after repairs
Appreciate any insight, hoping to finally join the goldwing crew without draining the bank or feel like I'm squandering my savings
