Thermostat fan switch.

Hi, I have a 1980 Goldwing GL1100.
I have just replaced the thermostat and found the switch in the thermostat housing for the electric fan was not working.
I sent for a replacement but it didn’t fit.
The thread was too narrow so I was not able to use it.
I know I ordered the right part but the seller says it’s the only one he carries for this model.
Does anybody know where I can find the correct type.
I’d Appreciate any advice.

I have available good quality made in Spain that has an adapter to suit 18mm thread.please note it comes on 1 degree celcius hotter and goes off 1 degree hotter than OEM .

Hi, thank you for your help. I did manage to buy a used one from eBay that was sent from Germany.
As a matter of interest, how much would your adapter be?
