Trying to fix my heated throttle grip

I recently noticed the wire to my heated throttle grip snapped, so I decided to pull it off for repair. I've only swapped regular rubber grips before, so this was new territory. After peeling up the rubber pad, I didn't see any glue, I am not sure about using solvent, so I need some help

Heated grips usually aren't glued like standard ones since the heating element is built in. If you've already got the rubber peeled back, just work it off carefully, sometimes a bit of gentle heat or compressed air helps. Definitely avoid strong solvents so you wont damage the element.
