Resident of the Great Pacific NorthWest. Currently in the convergence of the Snake, Yakima, and Columbia Rivers area.
First ride was bicycles, horses, and then cars. First motorcycle was a new 1978 CX500 Deluxe. Bikes are not great for main transportation here in the wet-sing-ton state. Three years I traded for a vehicle. Always felt the passion to ride again. My wife said just keep the life insurance current and ride anything anywhere you please. So I returned to my first love and got a 19880 CX500 Deluxe and a 1981 CX500 Custom. Only flaw I felt against the magot was being under powered for interstate speeds. So I am currently trying to make right a 1983 GL1100 Interstate. Won't idle, runs rich, some back firing. I should have checked for vacuum leaks before pulling the fuel tank and carbs. Semi-retirement with toys that love to be ridden.
